Common Problems in CNC Machining of Precision Parts

2024-11-21

In the process of CNC machining precision parts, it is inevitable that there will be some minor defects. For customers, they feel that their products are poorly made and cannot meet the application requirements, and they ask for repairs. It is very likely that they will directly find other companies to make them next time. If you don’t pay attention, there will be a lot of customer loss, which will have a great impact on the company. Today, I will share some solutions with you.

What is the cause of the diameter finish deviation after CNC machining of precision parts?

① The axis of the main shaft bearing of the bedroom bed box has a flatness deviation on the slide rail.

② The slope of the bed slide rail is deviated or deformed after installation.

③ The surface of the bed slide rail is obviously damaged, and the straightness of the slide in the plane and the slope after the slide are deviated.

④ Because the axis of the spindle taper hole and the axis of the taper hole of the top sleeve of the lathe tool holder are not on the same straight line.

What is the solution?

① Recalibrate the installation method of the main shaft bearing axis of the bedroom bed box to make the product within the error range.

② Use the adjustment pad to recalibrate the slope of the bed slide.

③ The non-straightness of the slide in the plane and the slope deviation after the slide move are relatively large. There are no large scratches on the slide rail, which can be repaired by grinding the slide rail. If the deviation is relatively large, the slide rail should be finely planed or ground.

④ Adjust the screws on both sides of the lathe tool holder to remove the finish.

⑤ Repair the CNC blade and correctly select the lathe speed and cutting speed.
