The main difficulty in precision parts machining is to maintain extremely high dimensional accuracy and surface finish. Tight tolerances must be tightly controlled during machining to ensure that the parts can operate reliably in harsh application environments.
What are the problems of precision parts sheet processing?
1. Large cutting speed and high cutting temperature
This type of material has high strength, high tangential stress and large plastic deformation during drilling, so the cutting speed is large. In addition, deviations in the heat transfer of raw materials lead to an increase in cutting temperatures, which in turn drives damage to the CNC inserts.
2. The processing hard bottom is more serious
Low-alloy steel and some heat-resistant alloy precision parts plates are austenitic structure, and the hard bottom tends to be large during drilling, which is generally many times that of carbon structural steel, so that the tool life is reduced.
3. Very easy to stick
Both low-alloy steel and martensitic precision parts have the characteristics of tough cutting and very high cutting temperature. When the tough cutting flows through the rake face, it will bring bonding, arc welding and other adhesive conditions, which will endanger the surface roughness of the machined parts.
4. Tool life is accelerated
The above raw materials generally contain melting point plateauin, high plasticity, and high cutting temperature, which accelerates the tool life, grinding, and tool setting frequently, which in turn affects the productivity and improves the maintenance cost of CNC blades.
